Zorbing involves rolling down inside a plastic sphere. Originally, used the zorb to walk on the water, but today there are many kinds of Zorb:
- Harness Zorb Ride – the passenger is strapped into the Zorb before rolling down a hill.
- Hydro Zorb Ride – There are any water in the Zorb and the passenger isn’t strapped.
- Zylinder Ride – Developed for children who are too small for the big Zorbs.
The zylinder is shaped like a cylinder and is open on both sides so getting in and out is easy.
The Guinness Book of World Records recognises two sphereing records, set over two consecutive days in 2006:
-Longest sphereing ride held by Steve Camp who travelled 570 metres (1,870.1 ft).
-Fastest sphereing ride held by Keith Kolver who reached a speed of 52 kilometres per hour (32.3 mph).
